NuLife celebrated Deepavali 2022 by reaching out to beneficiaries through festive initiatives aimed at bringing joy and improving their well-being.
As part of its fundraising efforts, NuLife invited donors and well-wishers to contribute pre-loved ethnic wear in wearable, resale condition. The sale of these outfits helped raise funds to support NuLife’s pro-bono counselling and casework services.
With the generous contribution of Ms Susila Ganesan, a member of NuLife’s Board of Directors, 39 sets of Deepavali goodie bags containing festive essentials, food rations, decorations, and prayer items were prepared for beneficiaries. Each identified recipient also received a hot/cold pack and a NuLife volunteer notebook.
In addition, NuLife extended its Repair & Refurbishment programme to selected beneficiaries, offering a choice between home decluttering or cleaning of hall and kitchen windows.
Through these initiatives, NuLife continued its commitment to supporting families in need and bringing warmth, dignity, and festive cheer to the community.
Together, we made Deepavali brighter for those who needed it most.
