“The Invisible Struggle” – A Depression and Mood Disorder Symposium

NuLife’s The Invisible Struggle symposium shed light on depression and mood disorders, bringing experts and lived experiences together to reduce stigma.

The Invisible Struggle aimed to raise awareness of depression and mood disorders, their effects, available interventions, and ways to support individuals in need.

The symposium featured a talk by Dr Ng Beng Yeong, a psychiatrist from Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, followed by a relaxation techniques session conducted by professional physiotherapist Ms Ruchira Gupta.

The event concluded with an interactive panel discussion featuring mental health professionals, a NuLife counsellor, and individuals who courageously shared their personal experiences with depression and mood disorders.

Through this initiative, NuLife sought to promote greater understanding, reduce stigma, and encourage individuals to seek appropriate support.

Every Struggle Deserves to Be Seen.
